Stormwater Training - Earns 7.5 CEU’s

Stormwater general permits have been around for a long time, is your facility up to date and familiar with the latest version? Attend our training to learn the new features included in your latest permit and come away with the knowledge to keep your facility in compliance. Includes topics on Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Spill Prevention Response Plans (SPRP), Solvent Management Plans (SMP), and Best Management Practices (BMP's).

Asphalt Shingles Recycling

Did you know it can take 300 years for asphalt shingles to fully decompose? Attend our training to learn the value of becoming a viable asphalt shingle recycling partner. Our training includes topics on: Value of Preserving Landfill Airspace, Requirements for Collecting and Storing Shingles, Processing and Transporting Shingles to the asphalt plant, the Paving Mix Process, and the Benefits to the Environment.

Transfer Station Operator Training - Earns 8 CEU’s

The basic level program will train the new transfer station operator with 1-to-3-year experience. All subjects will give a cursory introduction to the material that is most relevant and likely to be encountered by a transfer station equipment operator or general laborer.

Life of Site Planning - Earns 5 CEU’s

Landfills have long life spans and should have well thought out plans to see them thru post-closure and beyond. This training event will help managers, operators and financial controllers, understand and plan for their facilities over time.

Heavy Equipment Operator Training - Earns 16 CEU’s

Heavy Equipment Operator Training is a 2 Day training event for managers and operators.  Day 1 classroom topics that will be covered include pre-trip inspections, "Shrinking the Box", methods to increase compaction at your landfill, global positioning systems, and much more!  Day 2 will consist of hands-on field training out on the landfill.  Participants will earn 16 CEU's!  All registrations will include lunch, dinner, snacks throughout the day and an evening event on the night of Day 1.
