Materials for Learning

WAG’s Operational Training events are developed for the landfill or transfer station operator/manager. We include current NCDEQ Rules and Regulations that support the reasons for why we are required to do the things we do. In depth and interactive instruction, mixed in with vendor support and in the field training is integral to our training events. We listen to our members and provide up to date training that is most beneficial to their operations.

Always adding new topics and diving deeper into the topics we already have are important methods for keeping our training events beneficial to the attendees. Our materials typically include: student manuals for taking notes and future reference, supporting documents used throughout the course including rules, regulations, example plans and other documents that help to reinforce the training program.
