Become a member today! We encourage vendor participation within our organization. Vendors bring a wealth of knowledge on products, equipment and other resources that our members may need to be successful with their careers. Our vendors are offered opportunities to participate in the training, speaking on various topics and subject matter that is relevant and important to building our knowledge base. Vendors may also sponsor events and offer discounts on products to help keep costs low for our members. WAG will continually be seeking vendors to participate in support of our members.
Members will have access to the WAG website, which includes many features that are important to those in the waste industry. Weather updates, equipment comparisons, blog forums, Tool Box, access to presentations, data reports, links to facilities, regulations, and other data driven statistics are all available to members.
Our members are always encouraged to interact with other members, to share experiences, and to benefit from continuing learning through peers and mentors.
Quarterly workshops will be offered in 2023 at locations spread out across the State. Our theme for 2023 will be on Density Improvement. Check out our typical agenda for these events and the training topics that have been developed.
Recognition for work that is well done. WAG believes that we can all improve our performance and that when we do it shouldn’t go unnoticed. Recognition and awards will be presented at each of our workshops.

SEEKING NEW MEMBERS
Waste Alliance Group (WAG) is a non-profit, organized in September 2021 for the purpose of bringing together members that share common interests, with a focus on the North Carolina waste market, including solid waste, liquid waste, industrial waste, recovered materials, reusable materials and recycling. WAG identifies and develops relationships with vendors, suppliers and equipment providers for the benefit of our members. Content is evolving. Check back often as new features become live!
WAG has organized forum groups where we discuss key topics pertaining to the waste industry, including:
Equipment - relevant to equipment providers that support all waste-related businesses. Contractors - relevant to businesses that support waste operations with specific services. Haulers - relevant to waste haulers. Solid Waste - relevant to any organization involved in solid waste. Liquid Waste - relevant to any organization involved in any kind of liquid waste. Legislative - relevant to those who are concerned about legislation affecting the waste industry.
WAG also offers training opportunities to our members that are relevant and specific to the North Carolina waste industry. Developing new materials and programs to stay current with industry changes and to keep up with an ever-changing regulatory environment. Crossing the boundaries between different waste streams for the benefit of the industry.
