This event will take place at the Statesville Civic Center and the Iredell County Landfill and is open to professionals across the waste management and environmental sectors.

Event Overview

For just $50 per person, participants will experience a full day of education, equipment demonstrations, and networking opportunities. Attendees will have the chance to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs), making it not only an informative experience but also an investment in professional development.

Each day will feature the same agenda, allowing attendees the flexibility to attend on their preferred date: November 12, 13, or 14. Morning sessions will take place at the Statesville Civic Center (300 S Center St, Statesville, NC 28677), covering key topics in waste recovery, including historical overviews of waste management in North Carolina and Iredell County, asphalt shingle recycling, and density improvement planning.

Following lunch, the event will shift to the Iredell County Landfill (354 Twin Oaks Rd, Statesville, NC 28625), where participants can engage in live demonstrations of cutting-edge waste recovery equipment. From excavators and shredders to eddy current sorters and wind sifters, attendees will see firsthand how these machines contribute to landfill reclamation and material recovery.
